CRYPTO WINTER HAS HAPPEN IN PAST AND WILL HAPPEN IN FUTURE PEOPLE SHOULD FOCUS ON BUILDING INSTEAD: RIPPLE SVP
Brooks Entwistle, Ripple's senior vice president (SVP) for global customer success at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, discusses his time in Ripple and the current "crypto winter" and what market participants to focus on.
After working for prominent firms such as Goldman Sachs and Uber, Ripple SVP shared that his experience at Ripple gave him the opportunity to test it. Last year, Entwistle shared that their team was learning more about the industry to "understand what types of business work" and what could be improved.
Entwistle also revealed that the WEF event in Davos gave him the opportunity to see the world through the weather. He said this made it easier to connect with people and create new connections in the industry. "You'm busy just the minute you get here, you'm busy you never stop meeting with colleagues, customers find strategies to do it," said Entwistle.
Apart from the weather, the Ripple official also shared his thoughts on the state of the market. He said:
“This has happened before. It will happen again. And I think about it, we build on it. And I think it's an opportunity. ”
A Ripple official also said their company was taking the opportunity to build "globally." In addition, Entwistle has provided advice to the blockchain community, telling people not to focus too much on current markets and instead, to focus their attention elsewhere. "Somehow most of this is noise and we have to reduce the noise and focus on the signal," said Ripple SVP.
Last week, crypto veterans also offered their advice to those who are new to the bear market. Advice also varies from buying Bitcoin (BTC) to managing expectations, reducing costs and doing nothing.
